Denver Adjusting Lineup Amidst Injuries
Denver, CO - The Denver Nuggets will take on the Los Angeles Lakers on April 2, 2024, with a slightly altered starting lineup. With Aaron Gordon out due to injury, Jamal Murray and Kentavius Caldwell-Pope will step into the starting roles.
Murray, who has been averaging 22.5 points per game this season, will take over the point guard duties. Caldwell-Pope, averaging 13.2 points per game, will provide additional scoring and perimeter defense.
Nikola Jokic, Michael Porter Jr., and Jeff Green are expected to round out the starting lineup. Bones Hyland and Bruce Brown will likely come off the bench in reserve roles.
The Nuggets are currently 42-27 on the season and are battling for a top-three seed in the Western Conference. The Lakers, on the other hand, are 23-47 and out of playoff contention.
